Two pancake recipes like you’ve never had them!

These two recipes are perfect when you want something else for lunch than just bread and cheese, or when you don’t have much time to cook dinner or want to have a nice breakfast. They are pancakes, but pancakes in a way that you would never think of. They are both a mix of sweetness and savory, a strange combination but with a delicious twist! If you like these 2 pancakes, you can maybe try pancakes with fillings of your own creation!. Since you are a student, my guess is that these pancakes are perfect because you can combine them with your leftovers!

Pancakes with cream cheese, walnuts, honey and raisins (4 persons)

What do you need?

  • 1 cup of cream cheese naturel
  • 2 tablespoons of walnuts
  • 2 tablespoons of raisins
  • 2 tablespoons of honey
  • 4 pancakes (you can make them yourself or buy them in the supermarket)

How do you make them?

  1. Stir the cream cheese and the honey together.
  2. Chop the walnuts.
  3. Add the walnuts and the raisins to the cream cheese and honey mix..
  4. Spread the mixture over (?) the pancakes, roll them and you are done!

Wholegrain pancakes with mozzarella, pesto and tomatoes

What do you need?

  • 1 can of green pesto (you can add as much pesto as you like)
  • 2 balls of mozzarella
  • 1 cup of cherry tomatoes
  • Optionally: rucola and pine nuts
  • 4 wholegrain pancakes (you can also make them yourself or buy them)

How do you make them?

  1. Spread the pancakes with the pesto.
  2. Cut the mozzarella in slices.
  3. Cut the tomatoes in 4 slices.
  4. Cover your pancake with the mozzarella and the tomatoes.
  5. Finally: add the rocket and the pine nuts, and you are ready to enjoy!
