The green smoothie or the red one?

They are both delicious and healthy smoothies, but which one do you prefer? The green smoothie contains green vegetables (of course), which hold a lot of iron, protein, vitamins, antioxidants, minerals and they have a high fiber content. Because of the‘weird’ ingredients in this smoothie, a lot of people are scared to try this one. The red smoothie on the other side is a lot more accepted, because it contains red fruits, which are a lot more common in a smoothie. The red one is in general a lot softer and more sweet. I prefer the green smoothie, because it’s so good for your body! I’ll give you 2 recipes, one for the green smoothie and one for the red smoothie so that you can try both and choose your favorite!

What do you need?

  • 200 grams of spinach
  • 1 banana
  • 1 orange
  • 150 ml coconut milk
  • 200 ml water

How do you make it?

  1. Add the coconut milk and the water to your blender.
  2. Add the spinach.
  3. Peel the banana, cut it into pieces and add it to your blender.
  4. Peel the orange and cut it also into pieces. Warning: watch out for seeds!
  5. Blend everything and you are done!

The red smoothie (2 persons):
