“When a child is ill he needs the support of his parents more than ever”
What is the purpose?
A pat on the head, a hug or the calming words of a parent. When a child is ill he needs the support of his parents more than ever. So why should the time of children with their parents in a hospital be limited by distance or visiting hours? It shouldn’t. To lower the visiting threshold for the parent’s the Ronald McDonald House is built near the Rotterdam Sophia Hospital. It costs a lot of money to maintain the house and provide the parents, brothers and sisters a carefree living. That’s why the Community Committee organised a fundraiser to support the Rotterdam Sophia Hospital. Do you want to help these families? You can! Join the activities of the Community Committee or donate directly to the Ronald McDonald House. For more information about the Ronald McDonald House, check out their website: https://www.kinderfonds.nl/huis-sophia-rotterdam.
“Do not only think about what you can offer the Charity Week, but what the Charity Week can offer you!”
How can you help?
The more people participate in Charity Week, the more money the Community Committee can raise for the Ronald McDonald House. This means that your contribution makes the difference! You can like, share or participate in the Charity Week events. You don’t have to do activities you don’t want to. There is a big variety of events for the likes of everyone. So do no only think what you can offer the Charity Week but what the Charity Week can offer you! To give you a short overview of the events, we will shortly discuss the Charity Week’s program.
