3 APPS YOU NEED TO SURVIVE THE ESSB (Newcomers special!)

Just started studying at EUR/The ESSB? Still trying to get around the campus? Wanna see how you can survive and save money just around the campus? Well, read on.

When it comes to apps, you can be surprised at how many there are that are completely M.I.A. Whilst writing this article, I discussed these applications with fellow bachelor students who have been here for TWO YEARS, and who still don’t know these apps even existed.

1. EUR Study Rooms

This app allows you to find all sorts of study spaces right now campus. Want to look for available spaces at the Polak, V-building, Mandeville and the PC rooms- but DON’T wanna go by foot and search yourself? Say no more- this app will tell you HOW many hours specific rooms are free, and allows you to book the rooms for your desired number of hours! This saves you bunch of time and energy. You’re welcome!

2. EUR Game

This might be one of the coolest apps available for ESSB students. This app allows you to TEST yourself on any specific topic within your Bachelor- all directly related to the teaching provided. Want to test yourself for the upcoming exam whilst having fun? Well this app does just that!

EUR Game uses questions to make abstract material applicable and practical, as the student plays against the clock, achieves scores and then is provided with feedback! How useful is this? The modes are the following; practise, test, compete and battle. In battle mode, you can challenge other ESSB students and see who is more knowledgable than the other!

This app’s content is provided by EUR lecturers, therefore the QUESTIONS, ANSWERS, and FEEDBACK, as well as references to literature are done in close contact to the teaching and syllabus within your faculty.

3. Spar University

My favorite app. Seriously.

Everyday, the Spar on campus has discounts on specific items, and let me tell you- they’re good deals.

The discounts on specific items change DAILY, so you have only 10-12 hours to take advantage of the discount. Also you can sign up for the FREE Spar University Box and get a free box of Spar goodies. It’s not a competition, you just get one for free! Yes, it’s too good to be true. Now go, see what’s on sale today.
